Ged Gilligan established Polaris Quality and Environmental Management Systems in 1992. He has taken more than 70 Companies through to certification in the ISO9000 Quality Management and ISO14000 Environmental Management Systems series. Since 1998 in has also been very active in assisting a variety of Companies achieve ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems certification. Polaris is located in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. Its working area covers Essex, Kent, the City and the South East of England.

Polaris specialize in working with small organisations who wish to improve their operations and are determined to achieve continual improvements without the need for myriads of paper work. Ged Gilligan has also worked as an associate with other well established companies serving larger and more complex organisations achieve certification with UKAS accredited certification bodies. Over the years he has established a good working relationship with most of the leading UKAS accredited certification bodies.
As a professional trainer, with a MSc in Training from the Centre of Labour Market Studies at the University of Leicester, Ged provides all the necessary coaching and familiarisation training to Management and staff.
